MASTERTON FOOTBALL CLUB.

ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of the Masterton Football Club was held in the Y.M.C. A. Rooms last evening. Mr J. Elder presided, and the following members were present: —Messrs C Perry, A. J. Parton, C. J. Mackellar. W. Minett, B. Chapman, J. Connor, W. Redmond, A. Miller, A. Thompson, R. Milne, A. August, Yates, H. Simonson, N. Fly, G. Barr, H. Braggins. M. Iggulden, J. Hanley, E. Simonson, T. Carmine, A. Pauling, A. Boyd, J. Ewington, E. Boyd, Algar, W. McHattie, E. Cook, O. Wellington, and T. Rayner. The annual report and balance-, sheet were adopted. The resignations of Messrs J. O'Leary A. Ross, and P. Barry were accepted with regret. In accepting the resignation of Mr J. O'Leary, Mr C. Perry moved that the secretary be instructed to write a letter to Mr O'Leary expressing the Club's regret at his departure, and thanking him for services rendered in the past The motion was unanimously carried. The following were elected mein. bers of the Club:—Messrs R. Mason. A. Miller, T. Carmine, B. Keith, P. Mcßarron, R. Jamieson, and L, Kyle. The election of officers resulted as follows: —Patron, Mr W. G. Lamb: President, Mr D. K. Logan; VicePresidents, Messrs W. P. James, J. Elder, and A. Henderson; Secretary and Treasurer, Mr A. Thompson; Auditor, Mr C. Perry (re-elected); Management Committee, Messrs B. Chapman, C. J. Mackellar, W. Minett, W. Redmond; Match Committee, Messrs W. Minett, W. Darvill and B. Chapman; Social Committee, Captain. Secretary, and Messrs R. V. Hosking, H. M. Boddington, W. U. Lamb, W. Redmond, C. J. Mackellar, W. Darvill, and J. Connor; Delegates to Wairarapa Rugby Union, Messrs Chapman, Minett, and Redmond. Mr"D. E. Parton was elscted a life|honorary member. Mr W. Redmond proposed that a vote of thanks be tendered to the acting secretary, -Mr A. J. Parton. It was decided to open the season on Saturday, April 3rd.

The of securing grounds was left to the Match Committee to deal with.
