APPLIES FOR A PENSION. Received March 26, 8.30 a.m. LONDON, March 25. Jem Mace, the ex-pugilist, applied for ths old age pension at Clerkenwell. Mace was in his day by far the most scientific boxer f he world had seen, and he had no equal. On account of his gentlemany bearing he was known as "Gentleman Jem."
