SWIMMING.

GOOD PERFORMANCES. By Telegraph —Press Association. WELLINGTON, March 25. In a swimming match at the Thorndon Baths to-night, three competitors beat the New Zealand record of 64 4-ssecover 100 yards, Roberts taking 62 4-ssec, Konayne 63sec, and Healy 64sec. It is probable, however, that these times wjll not be accepted as official owing to the baths being n«ne inches short of 50 yards, so that the actual distance covered was only 99J yards. In a match at the Ta Aro baths, B. C. Freyberg swam 440 yards in 6min Bsec, equal to the New Zealand record. '
