Miss Dunn has been appointed Librarian of the Greytown Library vice Miss Robinson resigned. Mr G. E. Chamberalin, accompanied by Miss Chamberlain, left Masterton, vesterday, on a visit to Rotor u a. The Very Rev. Dean' McKenna, who is at present absent in Wanganui. is expected co return to Masterton on Monday next. Mrs B. Speedy has ben elected captain of the Featherston Ladies' Golf Club for the ensuing vear, Mrs Lucas deputy captain, and Mrs B. Wickens secretary. Mesdames Fenwick, Speedy, Toogood and Wickens were appointed a committee. Miss Mary O'Neill, who was 'presented with the College exhibition'of the value of six guineas, at St. Bride's Convent, yesterday, for violin playing at the junior grade of the Trinity College examinations, is a daughter of Mrs M. O'Neill, of the Queen's Hotel. Miss Phyllis Hanify, the winner of; the Royal Academy medal for advanced grade, is a student of St. Bride's Convent, arid a daughter of Mr H. Hanify, civil engineer, of Wellington.
