Mr W. C. Buchanan, M.P., is at present on a visit to the South Island. The friends of Mr F. G. Wayne, who was late Stock Inspector at Masterton, and was transferred to the Thames on account of ill-health, will be pleased to hear that the change Pqs been very beneficial,
