RAILWAY FATALITY.
By Telegraph—Press Association. DANNEVIRKE, March 20. An inquest was held into the deatbj of William Harold Smart, who dies as the result of an accident oo the' railway on 10th inst., in which a light engine collided with a velocipede propelled by deceased and a surfaceman named Davolosky. The coroner returned the following verdict:—* "Death was due to embolism in the brain arising from a fracture of the right leg; which fracture was caused by the collision."
