THE QUEENSLAND LOAN.
LONDON, March 19.
The Queensland loan of £2,500,000 at 3£ per cent., is quoted at half per cent, discount. The "Standard" comments upon the ill chance of the date of the issue of the loan coinciding with a troubled political period, and adds: "Doubtless it will be quickly absorbed by the investment markets." The underwriters will receive 84 per cent, of the loan.
