Regarding the proposed scheme of immigration of the Central Unemployed Body for London, the North Canterbury Executive of the Farmers' Union has decided to urge the Government to allowjtbe organisation mentioned immigrants to the Dominion under its system of selection, and also to write to the Premier and assure him that there was plenty of room for agricultural workers in the Dominion, and ask him to recognise the immigration scheme.
