WAIRARAPA HUNT CLUB.
ANNUAL MEETING. | The annual meeting of the Wairalapa Hunt Club was held on Saturday : afternoon. There were present Dr < A. Hosking (Chairman), and Messrs « W. H. Buick, R. Buick, C. J. Bennett, H. Douglas, F. Evans, R. Morrison, F. B. Vallance, H. Welch, J. Shaw and the secretary (Mr N. H. James). \ The annual report and balancesheet were adopted. The election of officers for the ensuing year resulted as follows: — Patron, Mr C. P. Vallance; President, Mr Wm. Strang; Vice-Presi-dents, Messrs H. R. Bunny and Hugh Morrison; Master, Mr W. H. Buick; Deputy Master, Mr Robert Buick; Sub-Deputy Masters-Carterton and district, Mr W. H. Booth; Greytown and Maryborough district, Mr P. Tilson; Tinui and district, Mr F. B. Vallance; Blairlogie district, Mr R. Morrison; Gladstone district, Mr Neil Douglas: Huntsman, Harold Welch; Committee, the Master, Deputy- | Master, Messrs G. H. Perry, C. J. i Bennett, F. B. Vallance, F. Evans, W. D. Watson, W. H. Booth, Rupert | Morrison, and Hugh Douglas and the officers ex officio; Secretary. Mr Norman H. James; Treasurer, Dr Archer Hosking. A bonus of £lO was donated to Mr H. Welch (huntsman) for keeping the hounds until the commencement of the hunting season. The Master, Deputy-Master, Huntsman, Dr A. Hoaking, and the Secretary were appointed a sub-committee to draw up the hunting fixtures for the coming season. Thefollowing new members were elected:—F. W. Todd, Geo. Hume, Wm. Hume, Ronald Mclnnes, Dan Cameron. Colin Monson.. Herbert Welch, F. Gray, J. L. Blundell, and S. Noble-Campbell.
