The Free Church Council resolved in favour of a measure proviJii g for 1 ] Welsh Church Disestablishrm n being introduced this session, and affirmed the necessity of the Free Churches continually engaging in politics. A motion by the Rev. Dr. Clifford, attributing the failure of the educational concordant to the exorbitant demands made by the Anglican leaders, and condemning "contracting out," was carried. Only 60 of the delegates favoured secular education.
