CHARGE OF THEFT.

By Telegraph—Press Association. AUCKLAND, March 10. Carl Francis Walker, a clerk in the office of the Crown Prosecutor, was charged in the Police Court to-day with twenty-three furgeries, totalling £446, beginning on July 9th, 1906, and ending last month. A statement by accused admitted all the charges, but, with the object of obtaining bail, he pleaded not guMty.
