The matter of the Indian Councils Bill is causing excitement in India. Meetings held in many towns illustrate the rivalry between Moslems and Hindus. Mahomedans in Lahore (Punjaub province) desire no Executive Council for the Punjaub, but in the event o± a change demand a separate Moslem representative.
