THEFT FROM A MAGAZINE. AN ANARCHIST CONSPIRACY. SEVERAL ARRESTS MADE. Received March 10, 8.20 a.m. CALCUTTA, March 9. The police arrested a Bengali in connection with the theft of 1601'osof dynamite and a quantity of fuses from a magazine in the Hazaribagh (Bengal) province. Seven others wera arrested for complicity in an anarchist conspiracy. THE COUNCILS BILL. EXCITEMENT CAUSED. RIVALRY BETWEEN MOSLEMS AND HINDUS. Received March 10, 8.20 a.m. CALCUTTA, March 9. The matter of the Indian Councils Bill is causing excitement in India. Meetings held in many towns illustrate the rivalry between Moslems and Hindus. Mahomedans in Lahore (Punjaub province) desire no Executive Council for the Punjaub, but in the event o± a change demand a separate Moslem representative.
