A MAN SHOT DEAD. ANOTHER WOUNDED. Received March 11, 9.30 p.m. BRISBANE, March 10. A mysterious tragedy occurred at Chinchilla. Two men, named Clements and Saxcn, started ring-barking on Monday last, after delivering a note to the men previously engaged on the work. Last night, while sitting in a tent, Clements was shot dead, the bullet passing through his neck and entering Saxon's neck. The latter is not in a serious condition.
