ALLEGED DAYLIGHT ROBBERY. AN EMPLOYEE'S STORY. Received March 5, 10 a.m. MELBOURNE, March K. An employee at Lamb awd Company's store at Mur f on reports that while in charge of the premises in the dinner hour, he alo:ie at the time, two men entered. One presented a revolver and ordei'ed him to "bail-up!" He knocked the intruder down, thieves, after firing two harmless shots and binding and gagging the employee, ransacked the safe. They secured about £5, and then escaped. The police are investigating the matter.
