CORONERS' INQUESTS.
PAYMENT OF WITNESSES. By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, March 4. Regulations are gazetted providing for the fallowing payments as expenses to witnesses, other than medical witnesses, at coroners' inquests r —For every day's attendance at an inquest, or necessary absence from usual place of abode, six shillings,, and in addition thereto for every night's necessary absence from usuaF place of abode four shillings.
