AUSTRO-SERVIAN CRISIS. MESSAGES FROM THE CONTI NENT. AUSTRIA'S MILITARY PREPARATIONS. Received February 26, 8.13 a.m. LONDON, February 25. Messages from the Continent, which have been published in Times," show that the Austro-Servian crisis is acute. The Austrian Governnment professes that it is simply in favour of the employment of earnest international persuasion at Belgrade, to bring the Servian authorities into line. An inspired article published in the "Cologne Gazette" urges the peacemakers "to snatch the brand from the hand of the incendiary at Belgrade." It is reported from Vienna that Austria's military preparations are costing about £40.000 per diem. OPINION OF KING PETER'S ENTOURAGE. Received February 26, 8.13 a.m. LONDON, February 25. Reuter's correspondent at Belgrade reports that the entourage of King Peter of Servia are most emphatic in the opinion that a peaceful solution ot the trouble between Austria and Servia will be found. A CARELESS AMBASSADOR. Received February 26, 9 a.m. ST. PETERSBURG, February 25. It is expected that M. Zinovieflf, Russian Ambassador, will be withdrawn from Constantinople for the tardy presentation by him of the Russian explanations regarding the honouring as a sovereign of Ferdinand of Bulgaria, explanations which Turkey at once accepted, thus removing an international difficulty.
SERVIAN FOLITICAL PROGRAMME. Received February 26, 10.25 p.m. BELGRADE, February 26. M. Novakovitch, the new Premier, speaking in the Skupstchina, declared that the Servian Parliament had formulated a political programme, the aspirations thei'ein being embodied and the right underlying it had been submitted to Europe, who alone must shortly consider its legitimacy, both as regards Servia and Montenegro.
