MURDER AND SUICIDE. in an art gallery. ALLEGED VICTIM OF BLACKMAILERS. Received February 26, 9 a.m. LONDON, February 25. Visitors to the National Art Gallery to-isy were startled by the sight of a well-dressed man suddenly shooting and killing a female companion, and then committing suicide. The victims of the tragedy have been identified as an American couple named Dawson. Thay were of independent means, and had baen residing at Brighton. Dawson left a letter stating that he was the victim of blackmailers.
