WOMEN'S FRANCHISE.

ATTEMPT TO RAID HOUSE OF COMMONS. TWENTY-SEVEN ARRESTS MADE. Received Ferbuary 26, 12,10 a.m. LONDON, February 25. An attempt was made yesterday to raid tha House of Commons in order to present Mr Asquith with patitions. The raid was unsuccessful and twenty-seven suffragettes, including Lady Constance Lytton, and Miss Solomon, daughter of a former Cape Premier. The latter made an ineffectual attempt to rush Brookes' Club, where Mr Asquith was dining.
