FALL FROM A TRAM.
By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, February 24. Mr J. Wakelin, pawmiller, of Taihape, was severely injured in Wellington to-night through alighting backwards from a tram-car. His skulljwas smashed, and he is now in the hospital in a serious condition. Mr Wakelin was on his way to Christchurch, where his wife is paying a visit.
