Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd!, report on their Johnson vile sale as follows:—A fair entry of both sheep and cattle met with a good demand at late prices, but made from 20s to 21s per cwt. Best bullocks made £8 12s 6d to £9 2s 6d, lighter £7 15s to £8 2s 6d, light £6 10s to £6 15s; wethers 12s 6d to ..13s, maiden ewes 12s, ewes 12s to 12s sd, lambs 10s 3d to 12s lOd.
