EKETAHUNA.
(From Our Own Correspondent): t Tuesday. A revival of interest is taking place in the Eketahuna branch of the Farmers' Union. -Thirteen new members were elected and two proposed at Saturday's meeting. The meeting dealt principally with matters in connection with the show, arrangements for which are now well in hand. Several Hukanui settlers were \ fined at the S. M„ Court to-day for allowing cattle to stray on the rail-! way line. ' | Entries for the field events in i connection with the forthcoming Farmers' Union Show will close on; Saturday next. The Farmers' Union are again '. approaching the auctioneers in regard to improvement in the accom- \ modation at the local saleyards. ■
