Mr LHren, the Victorian Commercial Agent in tha East, states that a large syndicate exists in- the East for the purpose of transporting Chinese to Australia, and landing them in ihe northern part of' the continent for transference to. other parts of the Coraon wealth. The Minister for External Affairs, (Hon. E. L. Bachelor) i 3 taking steps to prevent an invasion.
