The following is Captain Edwin's weather forecast to 3 p.m. to-mor-row :—Southerly winds, moderate to strong, forth of Hokitika and Lyttelton ; strong northerly winds, probable with a falling barometer, elswehere. There are indications for rain in the southernmost districts.
