WRECKAGE FOUND.
By Telegraph—Press Association. NEW PLYMOUTH, Feb. 23. Constable Kelly, stationed at 'Rahotu, reports to the Customs officers here that about the middle of January a Maori found on the beach near Rahotu wreckage, comprising timber, two oar 3, and the gunwale of a boat. The latter, apparently part of a fiat-bottomed boat, is about 16 feet long, and painted a bright red. The timber is kauri and white pine planks. One kauri plank has letters Hike "Reonhoo" punched on one end.
