FRENCH TARIFF REVISION.

LONDON, February 13

The British Chambers ot Commerce have been greatly stirred lately at the prospect of losing a large proportion of trade under the projected French tariff revision. Protests were made and it was declared that the charges are likely to damage the entente. It is now announced that the PVench Government has decided to oppose a number of the proposals contained in the Customs Committee's Bill on the ground that they are caculated to unfavourably affect France's relations with foreign Powers.
