HARDENING TENDENCY. SYDNEY, February 13. The failure of some of the local crops, and the almost certain shortage of the Tasmanian crop owing to the absence of rain, is causing a hardening tendency in the potato market, and it is anticipated that prices will be dear for the rest of the year.
