LONDON WOOL SALES.
By Telegraph—Press Association. Received February 8, 9 a.m. LONDON, February 7. The wool sales included the following clips:—Opou. Bsd; Hakowhai, Xo|d, Daigety and Co., Ltd., report haviig received the following cable message from their London house, under date 6th instant:—"Wool sales closed firm. As compared with the closing rjtes of last series, scoured merino wools of good quality and condition are par to 5 per cent, lower, and faulty wools of the same class are unchanged. Greasy merino wools are also unchinced. Fine qual ty crossbreds aie 5 per cent, higher, bright medium, crossbreds being 5 . per. cent, to 7k per cent, higher. Coarse crossbred wools are par to 5 per cent, higher, and lambs' wool 5 per cent, higher. The total net quantity available for sale amounted to 201,0|)0 bales, of which quantity 12.000 bales were sold for America, 92,000 for Home consumption, and 88,000 for the continent, itaving 9,000 to be cirried forward to the next series.'
