The Canterbury Jockey Club's Summer Meeting was concluded today in dull weather. The totalisator investments were £6,359, making £11,140 for the meeting, as against £10,897 last year. Bookmakers' fees for the dav amounted to £2lO 10s. Results:—
Richmond Plate, 5 furlongs.-Ris-tori, 7.5, 1; Scotch Plaid, 7.7, 2; Applegarth, 9.2, 3. Also started— Boutade, Allma, Pedometer and. A isy. Won easily by three lengths. Time, Imin 2 3-ssec.
Linwood Welter iHandicap, 1| mile.—Chiarinian, 7.7, 1; Somaroff, 7.13, 2; Jessie Lewars, 7.13, 3. Also started—Lady Disdain, EUerton and Monkey Puzzle. Won by a neck. Time, 2min 10 3-ssec
Middle Park Plate, 6 furlongs.— Sharpshooter, 7.2, 1; Broadsword,. 8,3, 2; Sweet Angelus, 8.6, 3. Also started Caspian and Ormulu. Sharpshooter and Ormulu were quickest to move, and led into the straight. At the distance Ormulu was beaten and Sharpshooter won by a length from Broadsword, who was a neck in front of Sweet Angelus. By Telegraph—Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, February 6. The Stewards of the Canterbury Jockey Club met this morning tu consider the identity o! Mr Duncan Rutherford's Ingoda, who won the Lyttelton Plate on Thursday last. After the enquiry the following resolution was passed:—"That by an unintentional error of identity, Ingoda was entered for the Lyttelton Plate as by Stepniak —A.rmiger» whereas it has been proved that she was by Stepniak from Misa Niente. The Stewards therefore decide that the entry is invalid, and she i* distanced for the race."' This mev << Sir George Clifford's Ploughshare, who ran second, will get the stakes.
