Messrs Dalgety and Co. report as follows on their weekly sale at Eketahuna on Friday last: Entries under the hammer was rather dull, but we cleared our yards before the end of the aay. We quote:—Twotooth wethers (good), 12s 3d, others lis to 12s; two-tooth ewes, 12s;f.m. ewes, lis lOd; woolly mixed lambs, 9.s 9d; ewe lambs (shorn), 9s 9d; mixed rape lambs to 9s. Cattle: Two-year-old heifers, 35s to37s6d; mixed cattle, 365.
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report as follows on their monthly sale in their Pongaroa yards on the sth inst. : There was a good yarding of sheep and a fair entry of cattle. There was a large attendance of buyers, and farmers, and bidding throughout was brisk, resulting in a complete clearance of sheep and all the cattle with r,ne or two exceptions. Sheep sold as follows:—Two-tooth wethers, 9? lOd to 10s lOd; woolly lambs, 8s tu 10s; shori: lambs, 8s to 83 6d; aged ewes, 3s 7d to 5s Sd; rams, 1J guineas to 2'i guineas. Cattle: Fat and forward "cows. 60s to 81s; yearling steers to 40s; heifers in calf, 32s Od; yearling heifers (empty, 29s to 355; 2-year steers to 555,
