TWO CHILDREN MISSING.

SEARCH AT THE PARK LAKE. SOME CLOTHES FOUND. Late last evening the Masterton police were informed that tv'o children, Lawrence and George Mitchell, aged respectively 6 and 11 years, sons of Mr J. Mitchell, of Colomba road, Masterton, were \ missing. The children leit yesterday morning for school, and have not been seen since by the parents. The children were stated to have been seen in the vicinity of the Lake, and a search commenced about midnight by Constable Dunn, Mr Mitchell and others at the Lake, resulted in the finding of some of the clothing (shirt and coat) belonging to the children on the bank of the Lake ntiar where the water was shallow. At the time of going to press the jsearch was baing continued.
