CLEMENT L. WRAGGE.
An enthusiastic reception at the Town Hall, Wellington, was accorded Mr Clement L. Wragge, the worldrenowned meteorological and traveller, on his return to New Zealand after a lapse of over four years. According to Press reports, he made a marked impression during the two years he was in India, on all classes of society. He was under the distinct patronage of the Viceroy of India, several of the native Princes and Eajahs, and ministers of all creeds and college professors, who came from all parts to see and hear Mr Wragge. During his recent travels Mr Wragge has largely extended his collection of astronomical subjects, adding new star camera photographs from' the famous Oservatories of Lich, Paris, and others from stili remoter parts. These phjtnrgaphs, turned into lantecn slides, assist Mr Wragge in enlarging on the glorious beauties of the heavens. Mr Wragge will give an entertainment in the Town Hall this evening.
