THE TOTTENHAM SENSATION.
FUNERAL OF POLICEMAN TYLER. Received January 29, 8.30 a.m. LONDON, January 28. , was a great attendance at the luneral of the policeman Tyler, who was shot in endeavouring to arrest the two Russians concerned in the Tottenham robbery. The procession included five thousand policemen. Jacob, one of the robbers, who committed suicide, was buried secretly in a disused corner of the Walthamstow cemetery for the purpose of avoiding an anarchist demonstration. Received January 29, 11.10 p.m. LONDON, January 29. His Majesty King Edward has expressed his high appreciation of the gallant conduct of the policemen in pursuing the RussLin terrorists at Tottenham, and his sincere sympathy with the late Constable Tyler's widow and family.
