AMUSEMENTS.

"THE RED MILL." To-morrow evening, at the Town Hall, will be produced by Mr J. C. Williamson's Musical Comedy Company "The Red Mill." This Dutch play, by Henry Blossom and Victor Herbert, comes with a great reputation as being the foremost of all Dutch musical comedies. It is said to be brilliant, lively and picturesque, replete with charming music, delightful enchanting songs, vaudeville turns of a high grade, marvellouus eccentric dances, and vast quantities of rollicking clever comedy. "The Red Mill" will be staged in a manner worthy the best traditions of Mr J. C. Williamson's companies, and the music will receive the added distinction of being dispensed by a first-class orchestra. The box plan at Miss Rive's is filling rapidly.

BURNS-JOHNSON PICTURES. The contest for the Heavy-weight Championship of the World, between Tommy Burns and Jack Johnson, will be reproduced by means of the Electric Biograph, at the Town Hall, Masterton, on Monday next. John Fuller and Sons will show it by arrangement with Hugh D. Mcintosh. The fact that they have had to refuse money every nieht at the Theatre Royal, Wellington, where it is now being shown, §peaks volumes for the quality ol the films. The first half of the performance is taken up with the training tactics of the two boxers —Johnson at Botany and Burns at Medlow., while the second half is composed of the contest itself and the interesting preliminaries which takes fifty-five minutes. The box plan is open at Miss Rive's.
