Nield, Conservative M.P. for Ealing, has been fined £IOO and costs for contempt of court in cornmeriting, in an after-dinr.er speech, on the strangeness of Mr Bottomley's prosecution synchronising with nis voting against the Licensing Bill. Mr H. W» Bottomley, member for South Hackney, was summoned on a charge of conspiracy to defraud the public in connection with the JointStock Trust and Finance Corporation.
