SUPPOSED JAPANESE SPIES.

ARRESTED IN ECUADOR. Received January 27, 10.40 p.m. QUITO (Ecuador), January 27. Three Japanese, .-mpposed to be spies in the service of Peru or Japanese Army officers, captured near Cuenca (a cathedral city of Ecuador, on the Rio Pauto, 190 miles S.S.W. of Quito), mapping the country along: the frontier. They have been lodged in gaol at Guayaquil (the chief commercial city of Ecuador).
