LONDON. '3 OPENING '.RATES MAINTAINED. Recieved January 21, 10.58 &m. - LONDON, January 20. At the wool sales there was good competition at the opening rates. Goo.l merinos barely maintain the November level. SYDNEY. Received Janaury 21, 11.5 p.m. SYDNEY, January 21. At the wool sales to-day there wa3 keen competition for super and poor quality wools, but irregularity was noticeable in regard to good grade wools, and in some cases an easier tendency prevailed. The highest price realised for greasy was 14|d.
