TROUBLE AT BROKEN HILL. BOTH SIDES FIRM. EXODUS OF MINERS. TRADESPEOPLE SUFFEKING SEVERELY. Received January 21, 9.40 a.m. SYDNEY, January 21. Everything is quiet at Broken Hill. Both sides are firm, and are marking time. Many miners are departing to sesk work. Only 3,800 are employed in the mi.es, whereas the usual number is about 10,000. Tradespeople are suffering severely. The hearing of the riot charges has been adjourned till Saturday.
