LIQUOR IN UNLICENSED AREAS.

By Telegraph—Press Association. TAIHAPE, January 20. of trafficking in liquor in an unlicensed area were heard at the Magistrate's Court to-day. Daniel Morris and Charles W. Haggard, were each fined £2O for taking liquor into an unlicensed area unlabelled, the costs amounting to £3 14s. George Thomas Hutton, for a similar offence, was fined a similar amount and costs £1 9s. W. T. Parsons and Daniel Dunne were each fined £5 and costs £3 5s for keeping liquor fnr sale in a native area.
