; ~ (From Our Own Correspondent.) ! The Nireaha Co-opsrative Stores, Ltd., have had a very successful ' : year. The following report is to be 1 presented to the annual meeting to ! be held in the Public Hall on WedI nesday, January 28tb, at 8 p.ui.— , "The directors have pleasure in pre--1 senting the sixth annual balancej sheet, which is very satisfactory. j After making provision for known i liabilities, writing' £2O depreciation I off the value of the property, and paying £SO off the mortgage on the dwelling, there remains a balance of £159 13a 6d available for distribution, which the directors recomj mend shall be appropriated as fol-* j lows: By a dividend of 5 per cent | on paid-up capital; by a bonU3 of 5 j j per cent on shareholders' purchases; i jby a bonus of 2 \ per, cent on non- j i shareholders' purchases; the balance j to be placed to the credit of the j i reserve fund. The total sales for the ! year amounted to £3,182, being an.' increase of £5lB over last year. We j regret that the Chairman, Mr W. I Mason, is leaving the district, arid j has therefore resigned. You will be ! called upon to elect three directors to ' fill the vacancies on the directorate. Mr McMillan, auditor, offers himself for re-election." ,
