NIREAHA NOTES.
(From Our Own Correspondent). The County Council drays are metalling the North Road from the bridge to the Creamery. The sawmill trade has fallen away considerably, and the troublesome piece of road through the Totara Reserve should keep good now that the bush is down and the traffic lightened. A petition is bein? circulated and largely signed for presentation to the Minister, praying for the telephone to Nireaha or Koagokokako to be extended to Putara.
