DISAPPEARANCE OF A WOMAN.

By Telegraph—Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, January 17. Nothing further has transpired regarding the disappearance of the woman Mary Donovan from the steamer Mokoia during the passage from Wellington to Lyttelton last week. It has been ascertained, however, that after being spoken to by one of the stewards shortly before midnight on the Bth inst., the woman went to her cabin. She removed her hat, and then told the other passenger occupying the same cabin that it was too stuffy, and that she would go on deck. The Mokcia is expected to arrive at Auckland to-morrow, when the police authorities in that city will make further enquiries.
