STOCK MARKET. EKETAHUNA STOCK SALE. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on their weekly sale held at Eketahuna yesterday as follows: —-A good entry of sheep, c.imprising about 1,400 sheep, mostly wethers and lambs, was submitted. Business at auction was animated, but the reserves in a number of cases were high and a few pens were passed at auction, the bulk of it finding purchasers after the sale. Our cattle were confined to two or three pens, most of which sold. We quote Sheep: Two-tonth wethers, lis to 12s; woolly rape lambs, 9s lid; woolly hoggets, 12s. Cattle: Three-year-old steers, £5; 2£-year-old steers, <£4; 18-month-old heifers, 32s 6d. Messrs Dalgety and 'Jo. repoit as follows:—We held our weekly sale at Eketahuna in the Loan and Mercantile Agency Co.'s, Ltd.; yards, yesterday. Entries came in over advertised numbers and sold well, especially sheep. Cattle sold at late values. We quote:—Sheep: Twotooth \wethers, lis Gd, f.rn. ewes, 8s 8d to lis lOd, lambs fis 7d to 10s, 2-tooths (mixed) lis 3d. Cattle: Empty heifers £2 to £2 15s, 2-year steers £3 ss, fat bullocks (light) £5 10s, mixed yearlings (poor) 255. Send the documents of your importations to MESSRS J. J.
