HEAVY FINES.

ILLEGALLY MANUFACTURING WHISKY. By Telegraph—Press Association. WAIHI, January 15. Wm. Maiders and Alfred Lock were to-day charged with being in possession of a still, and illegally manufaciring whisky. Maiders was fined £BO or in default six months' imprisonment, and Lock was fined £SO, or six months' imprisonment. A month was allowed in which to pay the fine.
