FATAL ACCIDENT.

MAORI BOY KILLED. By Telegraph—Press Association. BLENHEIM. January 14. Yesterday a Maori boy named Gray Luke met with a fatal accident at the Maori pah. The boy was given to trick rifling, and was waiting for his brother with three horses, which were to be put into a dray. He was standing on the middle horse, and had wound the slack of the reins round his neck. His brother was approaching with a dray, and when some distance off turned round to speak to a companion. When he again looked he found that the boy had disappeared, and going up found him lying on the ground with his neck broken.
