WELLINGTON MAGISTRATE'S COURT.

At the Magistrate's Court to-day, Edward Richard Black, alias Wilson, was committed for trial on a charge of assaulting Kund Jorgensen, and stealing money and a watch and chain from him. Two others, McCormick and Neil, are awaiting trial for taking part in the same affair. Henry Henrickaon and Mary Tanner were charged with breaking and entering a dwelling and stealing plate, clothing, and other articles of a total value of £3O. Henri :kson pleaded guilty, and was committed to the Supremo Court for sentence. Tanner pleaded not guity, and was committed for trial. Robert Charles Collins was committed for trial on a charge of manslaughter in connection with the death of John Ferguson. It is alleged that on the night of December 12th, Collins struck Ferguson a blow, which had fatal results.
