RONGOKOKAKO NOTES.
(From Our Own Coi-respondint.) Wednesday. The annual school picnic is to be held on Thursday, 23th instant. The directors of the Cheese Factory have decided to advatia. lOd per lb for butter fat far December. The total payment amounts to ,£SuI. The last shipment of cheese from the local factory was tampered with in transit to Wellington. About lib wa-; cut out of two cheeses in separate cases. The cases had to be opened in Wellington and the cheese taken nut. The shipment had to be sent away one case short. The Rongokokako Cheese Company have received a cable from London, stating that the first shipment of cheese realised 58s, which is a very satisfactory figure. Mr and Mrs P. Thompson, parents of Mrs B. Morriss, contemplate taking a trip shortly to Denmark. Their many friends will wish them a pleasant journey.
