FIFTY MII'EIIS KILLED. ONE HUNDRED OTHERS DOOMED. THE MINE ON FIRE. Received January 13, 10.30 p.m. NEW YORK, January 13. An explosion at the Lickbranch Coal Mine, at Switchback, in Virginia, killed fifty miners. It is feared that another hundred are doomed, the mine having caught fire.
