Y.M.C.A.
A very successtul meeting of members and strangers was held at the Y.M.C.A. rooms yesterday. The Rev. A. Hodge, in his address on "The Neei of the Times—a Man of Decision," said the time demands that men be men of decision, men of a set purpose, with an aim. There are so many things demanding our attention, so many liable to attract our attention away from ths essential. The world needs a man who cannot be hidden in a crowd of duties and opinions, but who can stand definite in aim and opinion. It is necessary that man cut out the non-essential; this is the meaning of the word decision, cutting down. There was a full muster at the tea which followed the usual meeting. Mr E. R. Wilson took the chair, and welcomed the strangers' to the gathering. Among the strangers present were the Rev. A. E. Aston, of Wellington, and R. Dagg, of Taranaki. Mr A. Billington returned from a visit to Sydney, and related to the members about his greetings at both the Wellington and Sydney Y.M.C.A's.
