DRESS GOODS.

AN ATTRACTIVE DISPLAY. Among the leading fashionable emporiums which form the high-ciass ot commercial houses, of which Vancouver is justly uroud, is that of Messrs Hendry and Buxton, situated right opposite the Presbyterian 'Church in Queen Street. They have in stock at present one of the most modern and up-to-date lines in ladies dress goods to be found in Masterton, and one which every woman in this town and district , desirous of securing the most fashionable and serviceable goods, should inspect. A window display is made to-day, which would do credit to any metropolitan house. It embraces many beautiful designs in dress lengths that are to be sold during the coming week for less than their actual wholesale cost. Mr Hendry, whose word can be relied upon, stakes his reputation upon this assertion, and an inspection of the goods and present prices will convince the most sceptical of its accuracy. First class stylish and seasonable dress material, that is honestly worth four and elevenpence, is now offered at two and elevenpence, and similar sweeping reductions have been made throughout. During the next seven days exceptional value for money will be obtainable, and ladies should embrace the opportunity of participating. /
