SOUTH AUSTRALIA DEFEATS VICTORIA. Received January S, 12.20 a.m. MELBOURNE, January 7. The match Victoria v. South Australia was continusd today, the latter team continuing tneir inningf. Mayne was bowled without adding to the score, and the innings closed "for 351. Victoria, requiring 133 to win, were disposed of for 117 (Ransford 30, Armstrong 19). O'Connor was mainly responsible for the downfall of Victoria, securing seven wickets for 36 runs.
